The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.

ถือเป็นแผนการตลาดที่ได้ผลดีทีเดียวสำหรับการปล่อยคลิปคำพูดสั้น ๆ ของประธานาธิบดีสโนว์จาก The Hunger Games : Mockingjay Part 1 ออกมาเรียกน้ำย่อยแฟนหนังกันเล่น ๆ โดยก่อนหน้านี้ประธานาธิบดีจอมเผด็จการได้กล่าวให้ประชาชนอย่าแตกแยกและรวมตัวกันเป็นหนึ่งเดียว จนเมื่อวันที่ 9 กรกฎาคม 2014 เฟซบุ๊กของหนังเรื่อง The Hunger Games ก็ได้ปล่อยคลิปตัวอย่างที่ 2 ของหนังเรื่องนี้ออกมาให้ได้ชมกันเรียบร้อยแล้ว โดยคลิปดังกล่าวยังเป็นคำพูดของประธานนาธิบดีสโนว์ที่ปล่อยออกมาเพื่อหยุดยั้งการก่อกบฏที่เกิดขึ้นทั่วพาเน็ม แต่ความน่าสนใจอยู่ตรงที่การถูกรบกวนสัญญาณสัญญาณโดย บีที (เจฟฟรีย์ ไรท์) พร้อมกับประโยคเด็ดทิ้งท้ายว่า "มอคกิ้งเจย์ยังไม่ตาย"

          โดยการปรากฏตัวอีกครั้งของประธานาธิบดีสโนว์ในคลิปนี้ยังคงมี พีต้า เมลลาร์ก (จอช ฮัทเชอร์สัน) ยืนเคียงข้างกายเหมือนเช่นเคย โดยในครั้งนี้ โจฮันนา เมสัน (เจน่า มาโลน) อดีตเครื่องบรรณาการจากเขต 7 ก็ปรากฏกายเคียงข้างประธานาธิบดีสโนว์อีกด้านหนึ่งด้วยเช่นกัน 

  สำหรับเนื้อหาใน Mockingjay Part 1 จะเล่าถึงการลุกฮือของ แคทนิส เอเวอดีน (เจนนิเฟอร์ ลอว์เรนซ์) และประชาชนพาเน็ม ที่ต่อสู้เพื่อทวงคืนอิสรภาพจากการปกครองของจอมเผด็จการ โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากเพื่อนที่รู้ใจ และประธานาธิบดีอัลมา คอยน์ (จูลีแอนน์ มัวร์) ผู้นำแห่งเขต 13

          ทั้งนี้ การต่อสู้เพื่ออิสรภาพของชาวพาเน็มกำลังจะเริ่มขึ้น อีกครั้งใน The Hunger Games : Mockingjay Part 1 ซึ่งมีกำหนดเข้าฉายในประเทศไทย 20 พฤศจิกายน 2014โดยเป็นผลงานการกำกับของ ฟรานซิส ลอว์เรนส์ (Francis Lawrence) นำแสดงโดย เจนนิเฟอร์ ลอว์เรนซ์ (Jennifer Lawrence), จอช ฮัทเชอร์สัน (Josh Hutcherson), เลียม เฮมส์เวิร์ธ (Liam Hemsworth), เลนนี แครวิตซ์ (Lenny Kravitz), เอลิซาเบธ แบงก์ส (Elizabeth Banks), สแตนลีย์ ทุชชี (Stanley Tucci), โดนัลด์ ซุทเธอร์แลนด์ (Donald Sutherland), โทบี้ โจนส์ (Toby Jones) และ วู้ดดี้ ฮาร์เรลสัน (Woody Harrelson)
